In this hands-on build class, attendees will assemble and configure the Baldrick 8-Port Smart Pixel Controller supplied by Wired Watts. Designed for flexibility and performance, this controller supports 5V–24V operation with onboard power management and a jumper-less design for simple, error-free setup.

The Baldrick features 8 pixel output ports, each capable of driving up to 750 pixels per port at 40fps, with dual 30-amp power inputs to allow full 100% pixel output. Built-in fuse indicator LEDs make troubleshooting fast and visual.

Additional features include three programmable button ports using the FPP API, built-in test modes, wired 10/100 Ethernet, and direct xLights configuration push support (xLights 2024.10+). No separate FPP device or license is required. The compact footprint is compatible with common smart receiver mounting plates, making it easy to integrate into existing displays.
